Pioneer Point Partners LLP, the sustainable infrastructure investment firm, is pleased to announce positive developments at its portfolio company Teike Srl, a leading independent operator in Italy’s public lighting and energy-efficiency sectors. Pioneer acquired Teike (formerly Simet Soluzioni Energetiche) in April 2024 and has since supported the scaling of the platform and expansion of its national footprint in Italy through targeted acquisitions.

Teike completed three acquisitions of public lighting concessions in Veneto, Abruzzo and Puglia, adding approximately 18,000 lighting points to its network in 2025. The Company is also in advanced discussions with two additional counterparties, which would contribute further lighting points. These transactions represent an important step forward in Teike’s mission to consolidate high-quality public lighting assets, enhance services to municipalities, and strengthen national coverage. As of January 2026, Teike manages over 160,000 public lighting points and delivers services to approximately 110 municipalities across Northern Italy.

To support the next phase of its development in the This facility will be used to refinance existing debt and provide additional committed lines to fund future M&A activity and organic expansion initiatives. This comes after Clever Servizi Energetici, another Pioneer portfolio company active in the Italian energy-efficiency market, signed an €83 million financing agreement with UniCredit in December 2025.

Teike has also strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Andrea Beccuti as Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”). Andrea joins from Iren Smart Solutions, part of the Iren Group, one of Italy’s leading listed multi-utility companies, where he was CEO. He brings more than a decade of experience in the energy and environment sectors, including a strong track record in delivering complex energy-efficiency projects and scaling operational platforms. Andrea also previously served as CEO of ASM Vercelli S.p.A., a leading multi-utility in Northern Italy.

The quality of this appointment, in combination with the significant debt facility and recent acquisitions reflect Teike’s ambition to further scale its operations nationwide and strengthen its role as a long-term partner to Italian municipalities in the modernisation and decarbonisation of energy infrastructure.
