In April 2024, Pioneer acquired Teike (formerly Simet Soluzioni Energetiche), a leading Italian energy efficiency company providing services to the public administration sector in Northern Italy.
Teike designs, finances, implements and manages public lighting, among other energy efficiency services to around 100 municipalities via long term contracts. Pioneer will support the company’s growth into other areas of the energy efficiency market including heat management, renewable energy and smart city services.
