Start Campus is an AI-scale data center project in Portugal, founded by Pioneer in 2020 in partnership with Davidson Kempner.
The company is developing the SINES DC project, comprising the development of a 1.2GW data center campus, creating Europe’s largest and most sustainable data ecosystem with market-leading global connectivity. The project will be powered by 100% renewable energy and targets an industry-leading power usage effectiveness of 1.1 by harnessing the cooling power of the ocean.
