Pioneer Point Partners LLP, the sustainable infrastructure investment firm, announces a series of promotions and new hires across its team.
This reflects the continued growth of the business following the oversubscribed €1.1 billion final close of Pioneer’s second sustainable institutional fund, which has since deployed capital into three investments, and its long-term commitment to developing talent across all areas of the Firm.
Internal Promotions
Pioneer is delighted to promote Sebastian Miller to Partner. Sebastian joined the Firm in 2014 and has since been instrumental in the management of several portfolio companies including Nature Energy, Start Campus and Seras. His promotion recognises his leadership and contribution to the Firm’s success as Pioneer continues to expand its sustainable infrastructure portfolio.
Miguel Arbizu, Jemima Atkins, Luca Boschetti and Julius McGillivray have been promoted to Principal, reflecting their significant contributions to the Firm. Their progression demonstrates Pioneer’s strong culture of developing and promoting talent from within.
Emma Young has been promoted from her role as IR & ESG Associate to ESG Manager, to work solely on ESG initiatives. Emma joined the Firm in 2019 and has driven the implementation of Pioneer’s sustainability and impact framework.
New Hires
To support its growing portfolio and pipeline of opportunities, Pioneer welcomes two new members to the Investment Team; Mafalda Perdigão, who has previously worked at Goldman Sachs and British International Investment, and Pedro Gamero Laguens, who joins from Plenium Partners.
Pioneer also welcomes Daisy Macnab from Fiera Capital, as a Manager within the Investor Relations Team.
